well i just simply scrub my face with biore's pore unclogging scrub to slough off dead skin cells then i moisturize my face with an oil free moisturizer, for makeup to last it needs to have a clean surface to cling on to nd if you have oily skin i suggest you cut down on the oiliness in your skin with a exfoliant or a toner probably one from clinique nd always moisturize

well firstly, it sounds stupid but spray hairspray on your face after you've applied your makeup, i don't know why but it stick the makeup to your face but it is bad for your skin
secondly, get your make up done by something like MAC because if your using the wrong colour or the wrong make up then it will retaliate with your skin and come off easily
thirdly, use stuff like oily products before you go to bed or a face wash like clean 'n' clear, it will wash the rest of the make up off your face which is bad if it stays on because then that helps your make up off the next day if theres left over foundation on etc..
fourth, make sure you use make up wipes to take your make up off before using skin products to wash your face
fifth, apply your foundation with a sponge or a brush, because if you use your fingers its just as likely to come off, also your finger probably have hidden dirt on which will come off when putting on your foundation (:
hope it helped

If you put on a very light liquid foundation, then powder that fits your skin color it will stay on all day. I don't know what to tell you about eyes. I just never squint. I keep my eyes open wide, but not wide enough so I look like a retard.

I made my own primer, and so far it works just fine! (I am in the process of looking to buy one though to see the difference)

How I made my own:

What you'll need:
-Small container to put it in (I used an old eyeshadow container that was empty)
-Unscented moisturizer(I used a body lotion that had a small amount of shea butter in it)
-Petroleum jelly(you won't need much)
-Liquid foundation that matches your skin tone

Steps for mixing:
1. Put in some of the moisturizer(it won't matter how much you put in now, just not too much!)
2. Put in VERY small amount of petroleum jelly(less than the end of your pinky)
3. Put in a fair amount of foundation
4. Mix together until smooth
5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 until you fill the container(or until you have as much as you want)

To use:
When I first used mine, I made the mistake of not waiting long enough for it to sit, so it didn't work as well as I wanted it to. I experimented with it to see what worked the best. What I found, was to let it it for a minute or two after I put it on my eyelids, then brush a small amount of pressed powder over it. Then you continue putting on your eye make up as you normally do.

Hope it works for you!

Translucent powder. Once youve done your make up put it on. It holds the make up in place and makes it last.

They sell make up fixing sprays at makeup supply stores like Sephora and MAC.
