I am sure that some Christians think that way, but I don't think that God is watching over us to make sure we only perform "missionary" and don't have any enjoyment. I am not aware of anywhere that it says "thou shalt not enjoy sex"
Infact (and I will stand corrected if I am wrong) but I am not aware of verse that forbids premarital sex either, unless your father is a priest, you are a priest, or you intend marrying a priest. I mean let's face it, Jacob hired a prostitute (turned out to be his daughter in law), Jesus hung around with prostitutes, and the only people that Joshua spared when he raided Jericho was a prostitute and her family.
I think the "only between spouse" and "only for procreation" is something the church made up by it's own definition and interpretation of the word "adultery". And why not, after all they get paid to perform a marriage ceremony.
Oxford dictionary defines adultery as "voluntary sexual intercourse of a MARRIED person with another person who is not their spouse". Cheating on your spouse is adultery. Pre -marital sex is not.
